Had dinner with my son 26 Oct 2025. He heard of the place from his friends so we decided to go there. We had Nasi Lemak with Rendang Beef, pineapple fried rice, and squid nestum. Hot Tea was complimentary. All the fare tasted great. Service was reasonably well. Atmosphere was just right. Asian and Kiwi customers were dining that night. All in all a very fine dining experience.

Real authentic tasting Malaysian cuisine. The portions are generous and the flavours are spot on. We had the deep fried snapper with curry sauce, Homemade egg tofu with soy sauce, Marmite Sauce Chicken and a Eggplant dish. Parking at the rear, but need to register on the Ipad once inside

On the list for me top 3 Malaysian restaurants in Auckland (as of August 2025). Petaling serves up great food with great service. My pick to try are the butter floss range of dishes and the Kam Heong chicken. Make sure to book if you’re attempting to visit on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday 🤪

I had an amazing experience here. The flavors were rich, bold, and incredibly authentic — exactly what Malaysian food should be. The curry had the perfect balance of spice and aroma, the satay was tender with a delicious smoky char, and the kaya toast took me straight back to Southeast Asia. Every dish tasted like it was made with care and real attention to detail. The staff were warm and welcoming, happy to explain dishes and offer recommendations, which made my family so happy

Top of my list for Malaysian food just sadly they close every Tuesdays. I love the food it's authentic Malaysian Food. 👍 and the kopi peng is almost the same the one they got in malaysian. 👏
